The Project Engineer position provides construction management support to the Project Management team.
Reports to: Senior Project Manager
Required: Associate's Degree in Construction Management or related training from an accredited college.
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related training from an accredited college.
Required: Divers License
Required: One to three years of experience with administrative and computer experience.
Preferred: Experience in the construction industry.
Skills and Abilities
Personal skills must include creativity, strong communication, organization and leadership. Must be accurate with all work including computer data entry. Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities, work independently, and deal with stress. Must understand advanced computer technology as it relates to the company’s business and to be conversant with current in-house reports as it applies to project management.
Must be able to perform mathematical calculations as required for preparation of reports. Must be able to sufficiently communicate, both verbally and in writing, technical and business information.
Work will be performed in the office and in the field. Workdays will vary in length. Travel to jobsites, seminars, conferences and meetings may be required. Work is fast paced and action/result oriented which may be stressful.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with maintaining record documents which include prints, RFI's, ASI's and PR's on Company projects.
Provide support services to estimating and production teams on all Company projects.
Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings in a timely manner.
Assist with taking project photographs and maintain the project photograph directory.
Assist with material take-offs. Track contractor daily reports
Preform any other duties that are assigned.
