Child Care Network, Inc.’s Kids Klub Site Coordinators oversee Kids Klub sites, Kids Klub site staff, the
delivery of childcare services, and assures all transactions, activities and staff members comply with
policies, procedures, and contractual agreements. Kids Klub Site Coordinators must work harmoniously
to assure the Kids Klub site and staff function as a whole.
? Maintains each child’s health and safety
? Maintains a positive social, physical and emotional environment
? Maintains a clean and healthy environment
? Serves as the agency’s liaison with each host school and the parents/guardians of students enrolled in Kids Klub including:
o Develops and sustains a positive working relationship with principals, guidance counselors,
custodians and the school nurse
o Responds to parent complaints and inquiries
o Attempts to problem solve site specific issues before taking the matter to the Kids Klub Manager
o Attends school functions and parent meetings when appropriate
o Reviews, implements, and adheres to school policies and building rules
? Oversees Kids Klub sites, including:
o Assures quality childcare is provided to all children in attendance
o Assures compliance with State and Federal regulations of a CCDF approved, legally exempt childcare site
o Communicates appropriately and maintains a positive working relationship with designated
representatives i.e. Indiana Bureau of Children’s Services, Resource & Referral office, CCDF Voucher Intake office, Jackson County United Way, CACFP
o Maintains safe, appropriate furnishings (i.e. toys, books, voucher machine) at each site Child Care Network, Inc., a United Way Partner and 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors. Child Care Network, Inc. provides a variety of children’s services and is a community partner for issues related to childcare and early childhood education. Child Care Network, Inc.’s mission is simply: “Improving the Lives of Children.”
o Communicate site needs in a timely manner to the Kids Klub Program Manager (i.e. craft items, snack components, etc)
o Makes it a priority to remain actively engaged with the children
o Greets parents warmly and address and concerns or questions
? Supervises Kids Klub staff, including:
o Assures site staffs’ action and performance complies to Federal, State and Child Care Network guidelines
o Observes, records, and reports staff performance at regular intervals
o Recommends to Kids Klub Manager an staff changes, terminations and employment
o Serves as a resource and positive example for staff
? Provides financial oversight of the Kids Klub program, including:
o Collects and records all parent fees
o As requested, creates and provides each family a statement that reflects the amount of fees paid to Child Care Network (a minimum of one per semester)
o Assures parents receiving vouchers swipe their child in and out daily
o Notifies the Kids Klub Manager if/when any parent fails (repeatedly) to swipe their Hoosier Works card according to CCDF policy and Child Care Network expectations (Parent Handbook)
? Provides administrative oversight of the Kids Klub program, including:
o Assures all necessary paperwork is complete prior to a child attending
o Enters attendance daily both on paper (in case of evacuation) and within EZChildTrack
o Assures that each child is enrolled correctly and notifies the Kids Klub Manager of an changes (change in program, vacation week, extra day of attendance, etc)
o Adheres to and recommends revisions of the Kids Klub Parent Handbook and Kids Klub Employee Handbook to the Kids Klub Manager
o Completes all CACFP paperwork
o Works with all site staff to develop appropriate activities for all ages
o Seeks new activities and programs for sites
o Sends calendar of activities and supplies needed in a timely manner to the Kids Klub Manager
o Maintains staff, child, CACFP, records
o Shares responsibilities with any other Kids Klub staff members to assure both/all are prepared/willing to complete any or all tasks in the absence of another
o Presents major decisions (i.e. staff placement, expulsion of child, program changes) to the Kids Klub Manager for review
? Ensures professionalism in service and adherence to agency goals and philosophy
? Maintains a professional, courteous demeanor with those served and with other agency employees
? Engages in other related activities or special projects as required or assigned
? Adheres to the agency’s dress code as specified in the Child Care Network Employee Handbook
? Maintains annual requirements: CPR/First Aid Certification, Fingerprinting, 12 hours minimum training, and drug tests as needed.
? Attends staff meetings and trainings as required
? Completes tasks of Kids Klub Staff members as needed

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Competency with Microsoft Word, Outlook Express, Excel and a variety
of equipment and classroom tools i.e. computers, copiers, calculators, laminators, projectors.
Mental Demand: Confidentiality, problem solving, excellent verbal and written communication, customer contact, multiple concurrent tasks, constant interruptions.
Physical Effort: Light Work: Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of
Working Conditions: Office-school environment, frequent local travel, moderate exposure to body fluids.
Must be able to lead and assist students participating in indoor and outdoor games and activities.
Education, Experience and Training: B.S. or CDA in a related field preferred. Must have a valid driver’s
license, reliable transportation, and own a sufficient amount of personal liability/collision coverage to
adequately protect them self and others should an accident occur. Must be CPR certified (children and
adults), pass drug and TB tests, and agree to a National Fingerprinting services.

Kid Klub is located in all Seymour Community Schools elementary buildings (Brown, Cortland, Emerson, Jackson, Redding), Immanuel Lutheran School and Brownstown Elementary. Our before and after school programs are designed to be fun and safe environments for children while providing the time to do homework do crafts and play along with many other activities. Hours vary per school.
