Responsibilities Lilly is preparing to launch connected insulin pens and pumps to improve outcomes for those living with diabetes. Our Connected Care (CC) systems will integrate insulin-dosing data with daily blood glucose monitoring or continuous glucose monitoring data. In addition, our connected care devices will allow us to have a daily relationship with consumers, HCPs, and payers. This relationship will enable us to improve patient behaviors & outcomes.
The Senior Manager of Patient Usage & Retention Growth Marketing will drive continued product usage and adherence across the Connected Care product and service portfolio by enabling the desired patient experience after patient / system activation. The position will own the post-enrollment patient journey and experience, drive retention by motivating patients to use their systems more consistently and effectively and enable long-term customer engagement by inspiring customer confidence in Lilly’s clinical outcomes and patient support programs
Patient Engagement & RetentionDefine and own the post-enrollment patient journey and experience, identifying key touchpoints to drive continued patient usage of Connected Care products and servicesDevelop innovative ideas to drive adoption of new product features and service offerings and create memorable experiences for patients through connected care platform and other digital and non-digital patient promotional touchpointsWork with the Insights and Data Science teams to gain a deep understanding of patients’ needs, and to glean insights and uncover new growth opportunitiesDrive continued patient usage and adherence by developing, implementing and managing multi-channel marketing campaigns (including digital) and working with partners (ex. agency, service operations, medical, access, peer education programs)Apply agile marketing methods to campaign deployment by experimentation, iteration and validation before scale-upIdentify patient needs and serve as a voice of the patient to inform product, service and experience improvement and development
Asset & Content DevelopmentProduce and manage development / review of localized promotional and educational content and collateral that promote offerings and services to patients using a variety of tactics (ex. videos, landing pages, ad copy etc.)Perform patient research and analytics working with Product, Services and Tech Ops to glean insights on patient usage metrics to identify new growth opportunitiesManage regulatory and other internal business reviews of patient facing collateral
Digital Marketing OperationsOptimize patient engagement through campaigns and patient services utilization measurement (including A/B testing, event / campaign analytics, and identifying opportunities for automation)Utilize self-service and custom marketing CRM and analytics tools / platforms to gather insights and drive continuous improvements
Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree4+ years of marketing experience, preferably focused on customer retention and usageQualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Additional Skills/Preferences Experience developing and owning detailed multi-channel strategies and execution plans
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with digital data, A/B testing, etc. Industry: Experience in healthcare, particularly with MedTech and/or diabetes managementProduct: Strong preference for individuals with experience in consumer tech, health tech and/or planning for and executing launches of complex, connected Medtech systems or chronic disease management solutions; experience with HIPAATeam / Role: Prior experience working cross-functionally (with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, etc.), owning complex / multi-channel strategies and translating strategy into detailed execution plans, working closely with customers and across a variety of data setsCulture: Ability to understand, lead and execute across cross-functional needs and priorities, comfortably make decisions in ambiguous situations, not being limited by how things are “usually done”Working Style: Results-driven, bias to action, detail-oriented, ability to thin
